Reaching the take-off area is easy: take the cable car up the mountain, enjoy a short walk, then a few running steps and… fly! An experience suitable for everyone, regardless of age or experience, with tandem flights available thanks to qualified instructors.

At his first participation in the legendary Red Bull X-Alps 2025 – the world’s toughest hike-and-fly race, covering more than 1,283 km across Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy – Swiss athlete Lars Meerstetter achieved an incredible second place, competing successfully against some of the sport’s biggest names. With determination, strategy and outstanding sportsmanship, Lars led the rankings during several stages of the race, delivering unforgettable moments and flying over Bellinzona, an official Turnpoint for the first time in the history of the competition. Supported by Bellinzona e Valli Turismo as an ambassador for the region, he embodied values of passion, respect for nature and the desire to push beyond limits, proudly representing the Ticino capital before hundreds of enthusiastic spectators.
