The route combines flowing sections with progressively technical features, making it accessible while still engaging for advanced riders.

The layout includes berms, rhythm changes, and natural features integrated into the terrain, offering multiple line choices depending on skill level and riding style. The trail is designed to ensure flow, safety, and continuity, maintaining a balance between speed and control.

The Black Wood Line represents a key step in the development of the Nara Bike Park, expanding the gravity offering in the Blenio Valley and providing a versatile line suited for both skill progression and performance riding.

Access to the trail is facilitated by the Nara lifts (second chairlift), operating on weekends during the summer season. The trail ends in Cancorì, near the La Pernice restaurant.

Outside lift operating hours, the trail can be reached by pedaling from Cancorì in approximately 45 minutes along a gravel road.
