Rustic 1900-style Ticino-style family-run establishment, including tavern and accommodation, located in the hills 10 minutes from the centre, in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. Simplicity and authenticity are the characteristics of the house.

It is ideal for those who want to escape from daily stress and want to go walking or cycling. There is an enclosed, covered bicycle garage with a workshop for small repairs.

The cuisine offered is typical of the subalpine region, with particular attention to nature and rustic simplicity. Specialities include soups, risottos, gnocchi, and game meats, often accompanied by polenta and Ticinese "pommes frites" and Ticinese goat cheese. Many of the foods are home-produced, such as syrups and jams, and the wood-fired oven is used monthly for bread, plaited bread, desserts, and meats.

The magnificent view of the Piano di Magadino, Lake Maggiore, the Valais Alps and, last but not least, the Morobbia Valley, provide that touch of magic that enchants our eyes and minds with such wonder.

The hotel is NoTec (no technology) and 100% non-smoking. NoTec means that there is no TV, radio, telephone, alarm clock in the rooms. Internet is only available in the main hall/terrace.
