The Lucomagno is traversed by 180 km of hiking trails. Of these, about 70 km have been selected as nature routes, allowing visitors to discover the natural beauties of this splendid region.
The "Alps of Lucomagno" route is a circular trail that allows you to discover the alpine pastures of the region. Starting from Acquacalda, following the specific signpost number 7, you reach in succession the old and new alpine pastures of Alpe Pian Segno, Alpe Gana, Alpe Croce, Alpe Pertusio, Alpe Casaccia, Alpe Sanprou and Alpe Pozzetta.
Alpe Pian Segno, Alpe Casaccia, Alpe Pertusio and Alpe Croce are still in operation and it is possible to buy their dairy products directly.
Along the way, you can observe houses with stone slab roofs, characteristic fountains, mobile milking wagons, limestone walls below which the Brenno river is born (Alpe Pertusio), as well as walk around the cembran pine forest of Selvasecca: the largest cembran pine forest south of the Alps.

Montagnepulite: This project was created to promote effective and sustainable management of alpine huts in the Ticino region, particularly waste management. Responsible waste management in the mountains is a matter of common sense. We can all contribute: www.montagnepulite.ch
