A mountain excursion dedicated to wild orchids, small jewels of nature to be observed in their natural habitat. An opportunity to discover their shapes, colours and survival strategies in alpine environments.

11.07.2026 - Excursion “Biodiversity Trails”
An excursion in the Lucomagno area, in the mountains along biodiversity trails to explore the relationship between agriculture, flora and birdlife. A guided route to observe the rural and natural landscape and understand its ecological balance.

Various insights are revealed along the route and, at the end, a prize awaits… what could it be?

Excursion among fungi and lichens on the trails of Lucomagno

A guided excursion along the beautiful mountain trails of Lucomagno to discover the hidden world of fungi and lichens, essential organisms for ecosystem balance. An opportunity to closely observe shapes, colours and curiosities of the forest floor, learning to read the forest with new eyes.

20.09.2026 - Dawn Excursion “Following the Deer’s Love Call”
When the deer’s rutting call echoes through the Lucomagno valley, a dawn walk leads through meadows and large Swiss stone pines towards the mating arena.
In silence, it is possible to observe the king of the forest, who with his call and antlers seeks to assert dominance over other males to win a herd of females.

04.10.2026 - Wildlife Excursion “The Wolf: fears, challenges and coexistence in everyday life”
The wolf is increasingly present in the area, with sightings also occurring in urban contexts. Together with an expert biologist, its biology and ways of consciously coexisting with its return to inhabited areas will be explored.
