Inauguration - Campra–Gorda–Nara connecting trail

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd, with a packed program of activities. It will be possible to explore the new trail by taking part in guided mountain bike and hiking excursions, allowing you to discover the route and the surrounding landscape firsthand. The official inauguration ceremony will be held in the afternoon, attended by State Councilor Christian Vitta and representatives of the municipal and regional authorities. The day will be enriched by interesting stands and opportunities for learning about mountain biking and responsible trail use, organized in collaboration with the Department of Land, Ticino Sentieri, and Montagne Sicure.

After several years of planning, design, and hard work, the Municipalities of Acquarossa and Blenio are pleased to present and inaugurate the new Campra-Gorda-Nara trail: a route designed to offer cyclists and hikers a safe, pleasant, and picturesque high-altitude connection, further enhancing the beauty of the Blenio Valley, which focuses on active tourism and slow mobility. The new route will connect the Lucomagno and Campra areas with the Nara district, passing through the Gorda and Piandios huts. The construction work was entrusted with particular attention to local businesses, leveraging the expertise and resources available in the area.
