The pink rickshaw of the Giro d'Italia

A memento of the iconic “Corsa Rosa” has been transformed into a new experience, offering a different perspective from which to explore the city. The rickshaw is available at the InfoPoint Bellinzona, inviting visitors and locals alike to pedal through the historic centre, discover the Fortress of Bellinzona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore some of the city’s most charming corners.

It’s a fun and sustainable way to experience Bellinzona, stop at its most iconic spots and take original photos to share on social media by tagging @bellinzonevalli and @bellinzonacity.

The distinctive pink rickshaw keeps the memory of the 2026 Giro d’Italia alive. In May, Bellinzona took centre stage as the starting point of the stage finishing in Carì, and this initiative transforms that memorable sporting occasion into an experience that can be enjoyed long after the race has passed.

Practical information
The rickshaw can be rented for CHF 5.– from the InfoPoint Bellinzona during opening hours. The amount raised through the rentals will be donated by Bellinzona e Valli Turismo to ALL4ALL, a Ticino-based association and sports inclusion initiative that enables people with disabilities to take part in running events. The initiative thus combines discovering the city with a social and inclusive purpose.
