Church of SS. Gottardo e Nicolao
The church of Saints Gotthard and Nicholas, located in Castione, is attested by the '500, was transformed in the seventeenth century and modernized in the twentieth century.
Inside, the long nave with barrel vault has walls frescoed in rococo style (nineteenth century). The choir preserves an original Renaissance tabernacle with bas-reliefs in popular style and a modern bronze door, where the holy oil was kept, and a late-Gothic crucifix of Nordic origin. To the right of the entrance is a polychrome wooden statue of St Gotthard from the 17th century. The baptismal font and holy water stoup are interesting, as are the stone works of local craftsmen, dating back to the 16th-17th centuries.
