Ca' dal fer
Known to all as Cà dal Fer, the Carena ironworks house was built by Giovanni Bruni in 1792–93, at the start of the project to construct the industrial complex comprising the hammer mill, the blast furnace and the other buildings in the Monti di Ruscada area. Cà dal Fer served as the owner’s residence, the administrative headquarters and accommodation for the workers.
The historic house houses a photographic and documentary exhibition that bears witness to the lives and activities of the time in the Morobbia Valley. For opening hours, please consult the website.
