The Planet Path winds through the Monti di Saurù and is immersed in the forest: an adventure waiting to be discovered. Saturnino, the mascot, will guide you along the route and share the curiosities of each of the planets you will encounter along the way.
With the Pizzo di Claro Cable Car, in just 15 minutes you will reach 1,300 meters of altitude and from here the hike begins. Along the route, there are ten educational panels celebrating our solar system in all its magnificence.
The circular walk is pleasant and flat; suitable for everyone, especially families.
The surrounding area is very picturesque. For an artisanal ice cream you can stop at Osteria Saurù or, for those who still have energy, in about 2 hours of walking you can reach the Brogoldone Hut, open from May to October.
The region is known for the peak that dominates it: Pizzo di Claro, the Matterhorn of the Bellinzona region!
