Upon reaching the hut and the summit of Pizzo Föisch (2,208 m a.s.l.), hikers are rewarded with an extraordinary panorama: the view stretches from the Val Piora basin to the glaciers of Val Bedretto, from the Gotthard massif to the Adula massif, also overlooking the picturesque Lake Ritom below.

From Pizzo Föisch, the route descends along a comfortable trail on the northern side, leading quickly down to Lake Ritom. From there, return to the funicular station by following the road.
