Guggen Summer Never Ends - The Ticino Carnival continues...even in summer!

For an entire day, the heart of the Leventina Valley will come alive with performances by four Ticino Guggenmusik bands, who will alternate on stage with concerts every 90 minutes, creating an engaging atmosphere from start to finish.

In the afternoon, music will fill every corner of the event with the captivating traveling concert by Los Fernandos, while the evening will conclude with a great live performance by Field of Thorns, providing a vibrant and fun-filled finale.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to stroll among the stalls of a market dedicated to artisans, exhibitors, and collectors, discovering products, creations, and curiosities in a festive atmosphere. Food will take center stage with the SCAG Pasta Party, offering lunch and dinner, accompanied by cured meats and cheeses from GIPPO and artisanal desserts from Sara's Cake Dream. Rounding out the offerings will be the food trucks of the Ticino Street Food Association, including Cucina On the Road, Sicilian Food, and Didi's Food Truck, present throughout the event.

For a refreshing and delicious break, Gelateria Mon Amour from Biasca will also be present, with its characteristic van and eight delicious gelato flavors. Guggen Summer Never Ends is also an event that emphasizes the value of community and volunteerism. Several important local organizations that share the event's values will be present: Nez Rouge Ticino, present throughout the event to promote a safe return, Ridere per Vivere Ticino, the Samaritans, and the Bukel Association, a tangible example of how fun and solidarity can go hand in hand.

Throughout the day, it will also be possible to meet numerous Kings, Queens, Princes, and figures from the Carnival courts from across Ticino, transforming Giornico into a great meeting place for the cantonal Carnival world. Guggen Summer Never Ends is much more than a music festival: it's a celebration open to all, where music, traditions, flavors, volunteerism, and friendship come together to celebrate the local area and demonstrate that Carnival knows no seasons. Because Carnival never ends... it continues in Giornico, even in summer.
