Cinema at the Museum: Naples - New York

The Blenio Valley Historical Ethnographic Museum Association, in collaboration with the Blenio Cinema Theatre, is pleased to invite the public to experience the magic of open-air cinema in the evocative setting of the Palazzo dei Landfogti on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 9:15 pm.

“Naples - New York,” a film by Gabriele Salvatores, 2024. Written and directed by Gabriele Salvatores, based on an original idea by Federico Fellini and Tullio Pinelli. Naples, 1949. Celestina is a 10-year-old girl who has lost her parents. Her only surviving relative is her sister Agnese, who, however, has moved to New York. Ages 8 and up. CHF 10. Screening starts at 9:15 PM. Museum opens at 7:30 PM (free museum entry with a cinema ticket). Parking is available in the parking lot located below the turnoff for Lottigna.
