Explanation
The 3.7 km long path, which can be walked in 1.15 hours, runs between the Pro Natura Centre in Acquacalda and the village of Dötra. It can be walked in both directions, passing by four landscapes of federal importance (with descriptive panels).
The aim of this route is to raise awareness and stimulate reflection on the effects of climate change on Alpine landscapes.
This route wants to be more than a didactic path: it wants to represent an experience accessible and practicable by everyone as a form of slow and responsible tourism, sensitive and receptive to the territories it encounters. Among the calmness of these environments, its appropriate, non-invasive and constantly evolving signage wants to encourage a more intimate reflection with these high altitude territories.
These courageous words are intended to ask visitors to experience the Santèi dr'èqua as a new experience: they are invited to enter the route virtually, thinking of being an integral part of it.
If the visitor wishes to have more information about it, on the following site is published a thematic dossier: www.sentierilucomagno.ch.
The route is only practicable in summer.

Tips and suggestions
Montagnepulite: This project was born to promote an effective management and sustainable use of mountain huts in Ticino, and in particular the litter management. The responsible management of litter in the mountains is a matter of common sense. We can all contribute: www.montagnepulite.ch
