The path, 3.7 km long and walkable in 1.15h, runs between the Acquacalda Pro Natura Center and the village of Dötra, and can be traveled in both directions passing by 4 landscapes (with related descriptive panels) of federal importance.
The purpose of this route is to raise awareness and stimulate reflection on the effects of climate change on alpine landscapes.
This route is meant to be more than just an educational trail: it aims to represent an accessible experience that anyone can walk as a form of slow and responsible tourism, sensitive and receptive to the territories it encounters. Among the calm of these environments, its appropriate, non-invasive and continuously evolving signage seeks to encourage a more intimate reflection with these high-altitude territories.
With these bold words, you are invited to experience the Santèi dr'èqua as a new experience: you are invited to virtually enter the route thinking of being an integral part of it.
If the visitor wishes to have more information, they can visit the following site containing a thematic dossier for further study: www.sentierilucomagno.ch.
The itinerary is only passable in summer.

Montagnepulite: This project was created to promote the effective and sustainable management of alpine huts in the Ticino territory. In particular, the management of waste. Responsible waste management in the mountains is a matter of common sense. We can all contribute: www.montagnepulite.ch
