Discover the Nara region thanks to a route whose view offers an unparalleled spectacle of the entire Blenio valley.

Physically and technically demanding, it will entertain the most experienced mountain bikers thanks to mixed difficulty sections that will provide thrills and adventure.

From the Acquarossa-Comprovasco bus station, continue on an asphalt road to Mount Foppa, passing through Corzoneso, Leontica, and Cancorì: a nearly 14 km way along the track of the popular cycling race "Blenio Gold Race." To more easily overcome this significant elevation gain, there is also the option to use the chairlift from Leontica to Cancorì. It is recommended to check the operating hours of the lifts in advance (www.nara.ch).

From the wide basin of Nara, the view that opens over the entire Blenio valley and the Adula glacier is unparalleled. The area is very well exposed to the sun, protected from the wind, where many characteristic rustic houses are harmoniously integrated into the landscape.

You enter a less steep and unpaved stretch up to Alpe del Gualdo and then follow an easy singletrail to Alpe di Garina. The following 7 km, with a descent of 1100 m towards Comprovasco, represent a mixed singletrail with various technical passages alternated with sections offering more "flow." In the lower part, there are several crossings of the open road (although lightly trafficked) that require caution. The last part of the trail, from Corzoneso to Acquarossa, has some difficult marked passages where the biker is advised to dismount and continue on foot for short stretches.
