Villa Mirasole

Starting point right from our property for many paths in the Media and Alta Leventina for hiking, mountain biking, ski touring, snowshoeing and magnificent walks in the pine forests of Faido and its surroundings.

Two tourist facilities - Carì and Airolo - offer the possibility to practice alpine skiing, paragliding and the new Bike-park in Airolo-Sasso della Boggia.

The holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of Villa Mirasole: a fine historic house, rich in external decorations, built during the Belle Époque and belonging to the property of one of the great hotels in Faido.

The house of only 3 apartments was completely renovated in 2002 and is surrounded by a magnificent 1700sqm park, in a very quiet and sunny residential area.

The 3.5-room apartment has a living area with lounge and dining room, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with French bed, eat-in kitchen and shower room.

The furniture is made by sensitively combining antique furniture with some modern furniture.

There is central heating and the floors are solid wood.

In the large park there are various very welcoming corners: private garden and relaxation area directly accessible from the kitchen; external porch with small grill, shared with the other apartments.

Dogs are not allowed.

5 minutes from public transport: one of the 5 most beautiful panoramic trains in Switzerland, the Gotthard Panorama Express SBB, the Gotthard-Panoramastrecke SOB train, TILO regional trains and PostBus buses, from Zurich, Basel Lucerne, Bellinzona, Locarno and Lugano-Milan .
