From Dalpe, after entering the forest path heading towards Capanna Campo Tencia, you arrive at Polpiano. From here you enter the Federal Reserve area of Campo Tencia. Upon reaching the lovely village of Piumogna, the path gently rises and continues inside the Lambro woods. After reaching Sgnòi, you cross the small bridge over the river and continue to ascend more steeply until you emerge in the pastures of Alpe di Crozlina, then proceed with a slight climb before descending a little and crossing the Piumogna river. The last section before the hut, 100 meters of altitude difference, goes through a rocky area.

From the hut, located on a beautiful panoramic hillock, you still have to walk about half an hour and overcome a further ascent of about one hundred meters to reach Lake Morghirolo. Enclosed in a basin at the top of the beautiful Val Piumogna, its blue and clear waters tempt you to swim, but it is advised to test the temperature first!
