The challenging route runs along the tree line. At times above it, with splendid views over the Leventina valley, and at times below, where the hiking path crosses untouched alpine flora.

A cable car connects the locality of Airolo with Alpe di Pesciüm. The magnificent walk begins at the intermediate station. Passing the lakes Grasso di Lago, Alpe di Ravina, and Alpe di Prato, you will reach the signpost for Zemblasca. From here, a splendid path leads down towards Ri della Valletta. Near Ri Secco begins the ascent to Lake Tremorgio.

From the Brusada ridge, the circular crater of Lake Tremorgio opens into view. Past the Tremorgio AET hut, the path steeply descends towards the Leventina valley. With numerous switchbacks, a mountain path leads from Lake Tremorgio down to Rodi-Fiesso via Cassin di Vènn.
