The feast of San Rocco in Prada

The Nümm da Prada are pleased to inform you and invite you to the annual celebration of the feast of Saint Roch, which will be held in Prada on Sunday, 4 August 2024 starting at 10 a.m. (in the event of bad weather, 11.08.2024).

The Nümm da Prada is a voluntary group founded in 1974 that works on the preservation and restoration of the church of San Girolamo and San Rocco in Prada. Thanks to the annual Whitsun and St Roch festivals, as well as other actions, it has been possible over the decades to restore the church with its medieval furnishings and paintings, as well as to enhance the area adjacent to the church.

The traditional feast of San Rocco, organised since the 1970s by the Nümm da Prada, is a popular event that revives an ancient custom born with the abandonment of the village. The event will include the canonical celebration of Holy Mass, a local lunch of polenta and mortadella, all enlivened by live music from the Tacalà.
