The exhibition concept

Pursuing the aims of the association gave rise to the 'memory addresses' photo exhibition project, which aims to enhance the context of the 'Lóntia at dínt' nucleus - Leontica di dentro
recall through images the people who lived in the nucleus until a few decades ago promote the cultural context of the area by giving space to the works of Delio Beretta, who was born and raised in this rural environment.
The current tourist context sees two main points of interest between which a footpath runs: the village square and the church of San Carlo di Negrentino.
The nucleus of 'Lóntia at dínt' is today crossed anonymously by the many passers-by; few curious people enter the old nucleus.
The project aims to divert visitors' steps and make them enter the narrow 'carà' to admire the hidden corners and listen, with the help of images, to the whispers of the ancestors who lived in these places.

For the occasion, the author has produced a publication with the complete collection of images from this period enriched with anecdotes, stories and poems in Leonforte dialect.
