I (due) castelli di Serravalle - Temporary exhibition

The Blenio Valley Museum of History and Ethnography in Lottigna is pleased to present the exhibition "I (due) castelli di Serravalle", which tells the story of the transformation of the Serravalle site from a mediaeval centre built around the 10th century to a cultural-historical space embedded in the contemporary territory.

On display are the results of the astonishing archaeological investigations - conducted on the site by the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio and the University of Basel (2002-2006), with the collaboration of the Office for Cultural Heritage of Canton Ticino - and the recently concluded architectural-territorial enhancement project (2006-2022).

The opening is on Sunday the 2nd of April at 2 p.m..
