The journey of Adelio Sarro, a long-time friend, is a fascinating life story. Of humble origins, the Brazilian artist has reached prestigious museums all over the world. His universe, with a strong emotional impact, tells us of characters with piercing, melancholic eyes and giant hands and feet, who go from being marginalised to being protagonists of depth. Sarro expresses his great sensitivity by choosing to give them a voice: they are workers from the Brazilian rural countryside, favela children, vagabonds, mothers and children, and he presents them to us as accomplices and solidarity, of mutual support and help. The presence of animals and musical instruments echo their aspiration, their hope for a better future. Sarro has the power to give meaning to this dream, transporting an exhausting experience to a lighter dimension thanks to the poetic themes of titles such as: Melody of the Earth, Cosmic Journey, Apprentice of the Universe, Magical Universe...
