Concerto sinfonico - Orchestra giovanile dei Castelli

The Castelli Youth Orchestra is directed by maestro Antonio Rimedio and brings together the best students from the music schools of Valsamoggia and Vignola (Province Metropolitan City of Bologna) and students from the area's music high schools. Its full lineup (strings, winds, guitars, keyboards, percussion) is composed of more than 40 boys and girls who perform in concert together with their teachers, in the belief that sharing the performing moment as well as the teaching moment represents an important opportunity for students to grow not only musically.

The orchestra has numerous performances under its belt, most notably its participation in 2022, 2023 and 2024 in “Corti Chiese e Cortili,” a major music festival funded by the Emilia Romagna region, the Ministry of Culture and local municipalities, now in its 38th year. This year she will be a welcome guest of the Airolese Fisorchestra at the Scuol amedia di Biasca to delight the Ticino audience with a concert entitled “Music in Color from South America to the Balkans to Italian Songwriters.”
