Biasca Carnival 2025 – He who laughs last, laughs best!

From March 5 to 8, Biasca transforms into Naregna, the kingdom of carnival. Now in its 123rd edition, the festival promises joy, satire, and tradition for all generations.

Wednesday, March 5: The festivities kick off with the Rooster’s Song, the return of the Fracasoi Cerott Band, children’s entertainment, and the unique Night Parade, featuring the handover of the town’s keys to Queen Taitü.

Saturday, March 8: The highlight of the carnival. A grand risotto feast, the famous Masked Parade with floats and groups moving to the rhythm of the guggen bands, followed by a night of music and celebration until dawn.

A carnival for everyone

• Friday, March 7 – Seniors’ lunch

• Festive nights in the tents and bars, with closing times up to 5:00 AM on Saturday

Naregna is all about masks, satire, and disguise. The 2025 campaign celebrates the magic of carnival with quotes from famous (or almost famous) personalities. In Biasca, everyone can become whoever they want.
