From the Molare village center, you reach the middle part of the Carì ski resort from where you descend, first on a single trail and then on a road, until you return to the starting point. A short loop route, physically not very demanding but technically interesting with a view of Pizzo Campo Tencia, the highest mountain entirely on Ticinese soil.
From the Molare village center, easily reachable by PostBus, you reach the starting station of the Carì ski lifts with a slight climb along the low-traffic cantonal road.
The following 300 meters of elevation gain toward the intermediate station at Brüsada/Carì 2000 are covered on a comfortable dirt road that serves as a downhill piste in winter.
For those less willing to pedal uphill, there is (depending on the season) the possibility to cover this stretch using the chairlift (check accessibility and opening hours).
Once at Carì 2000, you take the single trail, shared with hikers on foot, passing by Tic Cattaneo, which then leads onto the paved road bringing the biker back towards Carì and then to the starting point.
Though the trail is not extremely difficult and very fun, it requires less experienced bikers to be able to read the terrain to choose the most convenient line and to adopt a cautious and defensive attitude, especially for passages near some small steps. The natural setting of extreme beauty (spruce forests, small lakes, bucolic clearings) will abundantly repay the effort required.
